IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR JAMB CANDIDATES.

1. If you’re planning to change course or institution:
Please WAIT until the mop-up exams are over.
The JAMB portal is currently under maintenance because of the upcoming mop-up exams, so the server is down for certain services like CAPS updates and change of institution. Changing now will just waste your transport money because schools can’t access your new data yet.

2. For those who already changed institution/course:
You have to wait until CAPS is re-activated. Schools can only download your latest biodata, choice of institution, and course from JAMB CAPS after the portal is refreshed. JAMB CAPS is currently down till further notice.

3. Post UTME/Screening:
Because of this, JAMB Change of Institution candidates cannot apply for some federal and state schools’ Post UTME/Admission Screening forms yet. Your updated details haven’t been delivered to the institutions. Please don’t stress over things you can’t control.

What to expect next:
1. JAMB CAPS portal will likely be restored after the mop-up exams, probably by the weekend.

2. JAMB result slip printing should also be available by next week.
