PROHIBITED ITEMS NOT TO BRING INTO JAMB UTME EXAM

𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗕 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 & 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗧𝗠𝗘:

‎JAMB has released important rules for all candidates writing the UTME exam.

‎NB: To ensure that the Board's examinations meet best global practice, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has prohibited the use of the following items during examinations. Candidates are hereby advised in their best interest NOT TO bring THESE ITEMS close to the examination venue. Any breach of this directive would bar the candidates from taking the examination.

Also, where an examination official (board staff or ad hoc staff) or any authorized person is found with any of these prohibited items in the examination hall, such compromising action would be treated as a deliberate act of examination sabotage and necessary sanction will be applied.

‎• 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀:
‎ - Original JAMB Exam Slip (plus an extra copy)

‎• 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 🚫:
‎ - Watches
‎ - Pen/Biro
‎ - Mobile Phones or any electronic devices
‎ - Calculators
‎ - USB, CD, Hard Disk or storage devices
‎ - Books or any reading/writing materials
‎ - Cameras, Recorders, Microphones
‎ - Ear Pieces
‎ - Smart Glasses, Smart Lenses
‎ - Smart Rings/Jewelry, Smart Buttons
‎ - Bluetooth Devices
‎ - Key Holders
‎ - ATM Cards
‎ - Erasers

‎• 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: ⏬
‎ - Anyone caught with any prohibited item will NOT be allowed to write the exam

‎• 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
‎ - This is the ONLY method to enter the exam hall
‎ - It also serves as your attendance record

‎• 𝗜𝗳 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
‎ - You will be recaptured at the centre before leaving
‎ - Only genuine cases will be considered later

‎• 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
‎ - No manual attendance will be taken
‎ - Photo albums will only contain pictures (no present/absent marking)
‎ - Officials and security agents must enforce all rules strictly
